Zoom Lecture 

Carolyn Smith will explore the life and work of this group of people linked with the Arts & Crafts Movement at key periods in their careers. She will look at their association through the Working Men’s Club in Bloomsbury; early studios of Rossetti, Morris and Burne-Jones; the formation of the Pre-Raphaelite Brotherhood in Gower Street and the various premises associated with Morris in Queen Square and Great Ormond Street. Carolyn Smith, Chairman of the Arts and Crafts Movement in Surrey society, read history at University College London, specialising in architectural history. She has a particular interest in social and garden history.
